Hot Chillys Micro-Elite “XT” is our warmest base layer for extreme cold. This mountain weight, single-face stretch base layer can also be used as a mid-layer in clothing for cold weather. It’s the perfect choice for when it’s really cold and layering is a must.

The smooth face makes Micro-Elite XT the best fabric for base layer clothing for extreme cold weather because it’s easy to layer another garment over it. MEXT uses premium MTF nylon fibers that result in a soft hand feel yet it’s very durable. We combine these premium fibers with spandex for unlimited movement in a 4-way stretch. Combine ankle tights with a zip-T to shield your torso, arms, and legs from the cold.

When just “warm” won’t do, try our Micro-Elite XT; you’ll know the first time you wear it that it’s the warmest base layer for extreme cold you can find. The fabric is comfortable, soft, stretchy, and effective at protecting your body in frigid weather.

Warmth factor 10 out of 10 - Mountain weight for exceptional warmth in extreme conditions
